KEUKA LAKE WINE TRAIL MEMBER Dogs, horses, friendly staff, great wines, local foods, gifts and private guided tours of the winery! A uniquely fun and authentic Finger Lakes experience awaits guests at Hunt Country Vineyards, a sixth-generation family farm and winery overlooking the beautiful Keuka valley. Enjoy specialty wine tastings with chocolates or cheeses, twenty distinctive wines, one of the region’s most extensive gift shops including a Locavore Room, picnic tables and a deck with expansive views. Hunt Country produced the nation’s first genuine ice wine in 1988, and has been featured at the United Nations and on NBC's Today Show. Their vineyards encompass 50 acres of high quality cool-climate grapes that we craft into classic wines such as Cabernet Franc and Riesling, as well as rare varieties like Seyval Blanc, Valvin Muscat and Late Harvest Vignoles. The winery offers three great events annually: their Dog Walk in June, that benefits the Humane Society, a beautiful Twilight Picnic in August and, since 1990, their Harvest Festival in October. Hunt Country is a charter member of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. The winery is open 7 days a week year-round, with the exception of four holidays.
